Original description Test small, discoidal shape, involute except for the last stage of evolute; coiling planispiral, but slightly fluctuated trochospiral in the early stage, and consists of a small globular proloculus and a non-septated tubular second chamber. In the axial section, a central chamber layer and two lateral dense layers of both sides are distinguishable. Wall porcelaneous, double layers are of tectum-like and tectorium-like, although on both sides the layered structure undivided by lateral thickening of porcelaneous layer. In general both sides notchy plane, though some species characterized by slightly inflated lateral thickening. This dense layer is missing in the marginal part of volutions, and is not visible in the cross section. Aperture single, opens at tubular end of second chamber.
Age: Late Permian, Abadeh fm. units 3-5.
