Synonymy Originally, the species were synonymized by Zibrowius (1980) and Cairns (2009-2017) but with doubt. However, based on the location, description, and figures, the two species can be nothing other than synonyms. Chevalier (1966) apparently was unaware of Studer's (1879) tiny publication. The older name has now priority. [details]
