Description Colonies are flat with angular, subcerioid corallites. Septa plunge steeply near the columella which consists usually of a few pinnules. Colour: usually grey or yellow with dark sides to the colony. Abundance: uncommon but occurs in a wide range of habitats. (Veron, 1986 <57>) [details]
