Original description Diagnosis — A distinct genus of fusulinellid with shells that are small in shape with slight, bluntly pointed to slightly rounded poles, practically no fluting of septa, except occasional ones along the axis. After the fourth or fifth volution, shells expand abruptly and in sagittal section have an almost pseudoschwagerine look. Spirotheca in the first four volutions is composed of a tectum, diaphanotheca, and inner tectorium. In the later whorls the wall becomes two-lavered, to a tectum and keriotheca, although the keriotheca is never well-developed, much the same as in all 7riticites from this part of the section.
Occurrence: Lower Missourian, New Mexico. [details]
