Taxonomy Knight-Jones & Giangrande (2003) report the type is lost, but suggest Dasychone kumari is a synonym of P. orientalis. Earlier Knight-Jones (1994:197) had informally indicated D. kumari was a Pseudobranchiomma, not a Branchiomma. Keppel et al (2015:506) inclusion of D. kumari as a synonym of Branchiomma gravelyi was an error (Tovar-Hernandez pers. comm.) [details]
