Diagnosis Test ovate to elongate, flasklike, compressed and ovate to lenticular in section, may be laterally carinate; wall calcareous, hyaline to opaque, finely perforate, surface smooth, may have one or more peripheral keels; aperture ovate to slitlike, produced on a neck, provided with a central entosolenian tube and may be bordered by a phialine lip.
