Diagnosis Test tiny, elongate, planispiral initial stage of less than a single whorl, then biserial with changed axis of growth and finally uniserial, chambers inflated, enlarging gradually as added, sutures distinctly constricted; wall calcareous, perforate, surface covered with numerous minute short spines; aperture terminal, rounded, bordered by a distinct neck.
