Diagnosis Test flattened, spherical proloculus followed by very broad and low biserially arranged chambers, with lateral spinose projections that curve downward or outward, sutures strongly oblique, depressed; wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth to striate; aperture a loop at the base of the asymmetrical final chamber face, no bordering lip and no toothplate known.
