Description Test streptospirally coiled in the initial part, later planispiral and finally biserial; wall microgranular calcareous, undifferentiated, and may have some agglutinated particles; aperture at the base of the final chamber. Occurrence. Tournaisian (MFZ3–MFZ8) in Palaeotethys and the Urals. Rare in Siberia (Shilo et al. 1984; Bogush & Yuferev 1991) and North America (Sando & Mamet 1981; Armstrong & Mamet 1988; Brenckle 1991). Up to the early Visean (Radaevian) of Pre-Caspian Basin (Brenckle & Milkina 2003; Devuyst 2006, p. 367) and Vietnam (Nguyen Van Liem 1979, p. 68); MFZ 12 of South China (Devuyst 2006, p. 158, fig. 3.16); and V2a of Ireland (Devuyst 2006, p. 255, text-fig. 4.24). Late Visean of northwestern Australia (Vachard et al. 2014).
