Diagnosis Test small, from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm in diameter, with few subglobular chambers increasing rapidly in size, commonly only three and a half to four per whorl, sutures depressed; wall very finely agglutinated and smoothly finished or may include some larger particles; aperture areal, a slit facing the umbilicus and bordered by a slight lip.
