Diagnosis Medium-sized, sub-globular to planoconvex, involute shell with a finely agglutinating wall. Dorsal side barely flat to slightly rounded, ventral side convex bearing a pseudo umbilicus. The wall structure is characterised by a pseudo- keriotheca. The early stage of growth consists of chambers disposed in low trochoid whorls, evolute dorsally, with a conical outline and a flat top and acute margin at the dorsal side. Late stage of growth trochoid, occupied by chambers with a markedly rounded to sub- rounded outline, apertures may occur disposed in multiple rows. Closely similar to Rabanitina in shape and coiling style, but it differs by the lack of skeletal elements.
