Diagnosis Test trochoid, planoconvex, spiral side flat to concave, semievolute, umbilical side convex and involute, sutures curved strongly back at the periphery on the spiral side, gently curved on the umbilical side, depressed, periphery angular, carinate; wall calcareous, hyaline, optically radial, finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture a low interiomarginal and equatorial arch, extending slightly onto the spiral side.
