Unreviewed: has not been verified by a taxonomic editorDescription Encrusting sponge, 6-7 cm wide, 1 cm thick. Surface undulating, furrowed, detachable and punctured with holes 0.5 mm in diameter. Oscules slightly raised and star-shaped. Colour deep greyish-blue; interior yellowish-brown. Habitat: upper eulittoral under overhangs and boulders. Similar to Geodia crustosa (Richmond, 1997). [details]
