[details] Reproduction: vegetative reproduction is rare; asexual reproduction is effected by the formation of various kinds of spores; Sexual reproduction is unique in this group due to their passive, non flagellated sperm cells (spermatia) [details] Synonymy: The synonymy was proposed by J.
