Comparison Similar to Tubastraea but having smaller corallites and a rudimentary columella. [details]

Diagnosis Extratentacular budding leading to calices arranged in a plocoid fashion; corallites quite small; costae thin non-granular ridges; septa arranged normally; columella rudimentary. [details]

Remark Based on the poor preservation of the type and only known specimen of this genus, Cairns (2001) considered it to be a dendrophylliid genus of “uncertain position”, impossible to properly characterize. Two fossil species. [details]
