Synonymy Examination of material preserved at SNSD, Dresden, and considered type material for Turritella nivea Anton, 1838 has revealed that species is conspecific with the present nominal species, which becomes as such a synonym for the former. At present, conditions related to Art. 23.9.1 (Reversal of precedence) are being examined. [details]
