Description Phaceloid-dendroid corallum with cylindrical to compressed slightly infundibuliform corallites. No epitheca but subequal granulated costae which occasionally show some changes in direction. Intracalicinal increase. Radial elements compact or subcompact (pores at the inner edge), generally anastomosed in the columellar space. Small septa are also occasionally anastomosed in a contratingent mode. Septa rather equal in thickness from outer edge to inner edge but unequal from a septum to the neighbouring one. Straight to slightly curved. Distal edge with equal regular teeth, inner edge producing trabeculae that participate in the papillose columella, lateral faces with strong diverse ornamentation of granules flattened or not. No pali.. Hexameral symmetry not deciphered, bilateral symmetry marked with the elongation of the columellar space and/or by intracalicinal increase. Endotheca made of vesicular dissepiments sloping down abruptly near the wall, synapticulae present, wall probably parathecal. [details]
