Abstract
    One new and two known species of the family Xyalidae are described and redescribed respectively from the Arabian Sea of Pakistan. Gonionchus arabica n.sp., is a species mainly characterized by its smaller body size (0.45 vs 0.99-1.77mm). Theristus flevensis Stekhoven, 1935and T. otoplanobius Gerlach, 1951 are reported for the first time from Pakistan.
