Description Emend. description: Test free, compact, coiled streptospirally with axis of coiling changing regularly and gradually, involute, with embracing chambers that are sometimes irregularly shaped. The test is chambered at all stages of ontogeny. Chambers may be rounded or elongated in the direction of growth and are separated by depressed sutures. Wall finely agglutinated with a smooth surface, imperforate, with organic cement. Aperture an elongated interiomarginal slit.
