Remark A. comptus is a synonym of A. rubidus de Loriol, 1899, which is a valid species according to Jangoux (1985). But that name has been sunk in the synonymy of A. cingulatus Sladen, 1883 since 1917 when synonymized by Doderlein, so deserves suppression by ICZN according to A.M. Clark (1993). [details]
