Diagnosis Test small, reduced trochospiral, with four subglobular chambers arranged in opposed pairs, all visible externally, sutures depressed; periphery broadly rounded; wall calcareous, optically radial, perforate, surface pustulose and highly rugose; aperture consists of large pores between pairs of chambers on the umbilical side, separated by short pillarlike projections from the final chamber.
