Taxonomy This species is usually attributed as Corynosoma eperlani (von Linstow, 1884), yet Golvan (1994) states "E. eperlani sensu von Linstow, 1884: must be deleted because it is a juvenile impossible to identify and the geographical origin is unknown". Of E. eperlani Rudolphi, 1800, he states: "E. eperlani Rudolphi, 1809 may be a Polymorphinae (fide MEYER, 1932)". Yet, he lists C. eperlani (von Linstow, 1884) Petrochenko, 1958, as a good species!! [details]
