Editor's comment Chloeia australis seems very likely to be a junior name to C. inermis Quatrefages 1866. Kudenov does not mention it. [details]

Synonymy Editor G. Read noted on 2012-11-15 that Chloeia australis Kudenov 1993 seemed very likely to be a junior synonym to C. inermis Quatrefages 1866. Eventually Salazar-Vallejo (2023) examined types of both and placed Chloeia australis as a synonym of Chloeia inermis. [details]
