Diagnosis Corallum cuneiform, sometimes with alate edge costae, calice elliptical; GCD rarely more than 10 mm; theca imperforate; costae smooth or coarsely granular, originating by trifurcation; septa hexamerally arranged in 3-4 cycles; pali absent; columella linear-papillose. [details]Remark This genus and family was monographed by Cairns (1997), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Sixteen species, 13 of which are fossil. [details]
