Diagnosis Test trochospiral in early stage, later may be nearly planispiral, streptospiral, uncoiled, or biserial; aperture rounded or oval, commonly projecting on a neck and bordered by a distinct lip, equatorial in position or may be nearly terminal in biserial or uniserial tests.
