Upper Cretaceous strata along the west side of the Sacramento Valley and northern San Joaquin Valley contain a diversified and well-preserved fauna of planktonic foraminifera. Fifty-six of the stratigraphically important species of this fauna are herein described and illustrated. Three species are described as new.
