Herein it is described the new species Prodentalina nocchiae n. sp., from the Liassic (Late Pliensbachian-Early Toarcian) of the Umbria-Marche Basin. This rare species is morphologically peculiar for the general shape of the test and of the chambers and also for the curved, not depressed sutures.
