Distribution Australia. Common in estuaries throughout the southern coast of Australia, extending to the north-east and north-west (from Swan River, in Western Australia, to Tuross Lake, in New South Wales, including Lakes Entrance, in Victoria). [details]
Habitat Common in estuaries and sheltered bays, in intertidal beaches and sand spits, in salt water, often associated with seagrass beds. The worms form beds and occupy U-shaped tubes with uncovered ends. [details]
