Remark: Needs clarification: Dromia dromia is no longer a valid species, and has never been described by Linnaeus according to Lwinsohn (1977): Linnaeus described D. dormia, which is now Dromidiopsis dormia. Lewinsohn states that there was a second species described under the name Dromia dormia, which is now Dromia dehaani Rathbun 1923. It is not clear to which species the specimen records of Barnard belong. [details]
