Description Anterior end narrow, regularly rounded; posterior end characterized by a small, blunt lobe. Dorsal edge slightly but regularly arched; ventral edge convex. Valves strongly domed especially in the mid-ventral region. Lateral face of the valves covered with very numerous round punctuations in more or less concentric rows. In the ventral area, the rows of punctuations are separated by very fine longitudinal striae. Ventral face decorated with longitudinal striae and punctuations. [details] Etymology From Teiskot.
