Original description Known form part of a spine somewhat akin to Rhabdocidaris Desor. but with more elongate spikes and in being proportionately stouter. The spikes upon the spine me even more developed than in Porocidaris Desor.
Length of shaft of spine 37 mm. + diameter of base 5'5
mm., diameter of shaft 10 X 45, a collar is present on the base. [details]
Status Because the species is based on a spine and no test are known with these spines attached, the taxon is indeterminate. [details]
