From editor or global species database
Editor's comment Pherecardites parva has been suggested to be a Pherecardia species, but there it would be a senior synonym to a Monro (1924) species. [details]
Etymology Not stated. However, 'parva' (adjectival feminine ending) means small in Latin, and Horst (1912) mentions the largest specimen is a small worm (for an amphinomid) of 7 mm length and 30 segments. [details]
