Etymology Not stated. The specific epithet minuta is a Latin adjective, feminine of minutus and meaning 'small' or 'little'. Presumably it refers to the small size of the holotype, described as being 1.85 mm long by 0.42 mm wide, and as consisting in 10 chaetigerous segments. [details]
