Taxonomic remark Taxonomic remark Although Markham (1985) considered P. floridensis a synonym of P. pandalicola because he could find no morphological grounds to distinguish the adults, Dale & Anderson (1982) clearly showed characters of the cryptoniscus larvae that separated the two species.
