Diagnosis Decametra having cirri 7-8 mm long, of 14-20 segments that gradually increase in length to the terminal, which are about as long as broad; small sharp median spine on 5-6 cirrals preceding penultimate; P1 and P2 with 11-13 segments, which have slightly projecting and finely spinous distal edges; P2 longer and somewhat stouter than P1, 4.5 mm long; P3 much smaller and weaker, though not much shorter, than P1; arms 35-50 mm long. Description Also distributed in Maldive area and Ceylon (Clark & Rowe (1971)), though the Maldive record need confirmation as noted in 1966 (Clark & Spencer Davis). [details]
