Etymology Neosabellaria upopoy is named from upopoy, an Ainu word meaning “singing together in a large
group” (website Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park, 2020). Not stated but upopoy is assumed to be treated as a noun in apposition rather than an adjective [details]
