Etymology The species is named after Dr. Kirill Glebovich Mikhailov, who is a surprisingly multi-faceted
personality: a famous arachnologist, a senior researcher and curator of the arthropod collection of the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University, Chairman of the Moscow Branch of the Russian Entomological Society and Secretary of the Eurasian Arachnological Society, publisher and co-founder of the KMK-Press Ltd., which produces many Russian zoological journals.
