Description "Carapace subrectangular. Maximum height immediately posterior of the median region. Maximum width at the posterior third. Dorsal margin almost straight, partially obscured by the dorsal rib. Ventral margin slightly convex with a conspicuous oral incurvature in internal view. Anterior margin asymmetrically rounded and denticulate. Posterior margin produced below mid-height with small spines. Surface strongly reticulate. Bridge composed by only three cela, being the one most proximal to the subdivided muscular node. Dorsal rib conspicuous, extending from the anteromedian to the posterodorsal region, being more developed in the latter. Anterior marginal rib poorly developed; ocular ridge delicate and short. Ventrolateral rib thick and foveolate. Internal features as for the genus. Sexual dimorphism poorly pronounced." (Bergue; Coimbra; Ramos, 2016: 75) [details]
