Description Dendroid corallum with short branches. Rugose thick and wrinkled epitheca. Cutting calicular edge, infundibuliform calice. Corallite outline circular to lobate, extracalicular increase, Radial elements are subcompact frequently anastomosed, of a rather constant thickness (excluding ornamentation) straight or slightly curved septa. Pores are wide openings not necessarily close to the inner edge. Distal edge not well preserved, inner edge generally anastomosed, some major septa can join the axial structure. Lateral faces are ornamented with granules, no pali. Microstructure unknown. Hexameral symmetry difficult to decipher, bilateral symmetry with elongation of the axial zone. Endotheca of steeply inclined vesicular dissepiments, columella parietal, sublamellar in the specimen R 10832, synapticulae probably absent, peripheral wall of unknown nature. [details]
