Description Phaceloid corallum with non cylindrical corallites, reniform in outline. Thin equal costae more numerous than septa, covered by a thin epitheca. Transverse growth rolls. Increase by Taschenknopung. Radial elements are compact free or anastomosed sinuous with rare sharp granules. Distal edge unknown, inner edge mostly attenuated. Strong bilateral symmetry due to the elongation of corallites. Endotheca of cellular numerous dissepiments. Columella absent, elongated fossa, no synapticulae, wall made of closely packed trabecules or abortive septa. [details]
