Description Phaceloid corallum with elliptical branch sections, covered by a folded and striated epitheca s;l. Mode of increase not observed. Radial elements are compact free unequal septa s.s. , straight to slightly curved. Minor septa attenuated, major septa thickened at the inner edge. Distal edge not observed, inner edge apparently not dentate, lateral faces smooth. No palis. Microstructure unknown. Hexameral symmetry not deciphered, strong bilateral symmetry marked with the very long fossa perpendicular to a cardinal septum. Endotheca with rare steeply inclined tabuloid dissepiments. No columella, no synapticulae. Wall probably pachythecal. [details]
