In simple epithecal wall it differs from Cuifia which is charactrized by a peculiar structure of the wall showing wall segments (Roniewicz 1996). [details]
Description Well described and illustrated in Cuif 1975. Additional illustration in Roniewicz 1996:pl.4,fig.6, showing wall region in the topotype specimen of C. regularis. [details]
Diagnosis Solitary with pellicular wall. Radial elements costoseptal; septa of the highest size order frequently lonsdaleoid in type. Dissepiments vesicular, abundant. Mid-septal zone straight or ondulated. [details]
