Etymology The species name refers to Polunga, the most powerful and biggest dragon of the manga and anime “Dragon Ball” by Akira Toriyama. Polunga is a wish granting dragon summoned when all seven spherical magic balls, Earth's Dragon Balls, are gathered together and symbolizes the relationship between mud dragons and nodules reported herein.
