Etymology author: "The name tierralobos is derived from the name of the island “Lobos de Tierra” near the collecting site off northern Peru." As this is a compound from Spanish, not a Latinised word, it must be an invariant noun in apposition. "Tierra de Lobos" also happens to be the name of a Spanish TV series. [details]
