Reeve (1849 pl. 6, sp. 24) correctly notes that Kiener's flammulata is without doubt Le Ligar of Adanson, yet argues that such a name cannot properly be adopted in Latin and as such adds Deshayes' Turritella ligar as synonym of flammulata. [details]
