Taxonomy not Trichocerca pusilla (Jennings) after Mohammadi & Reihan Reshteh (2015)[=Trichocerca sp. near ruttneri Donner?]_x000d_
Listed by Lauterborn (1898:175)as Mastigocerca pusilla n. sp., without a word of description. Jennings, from comparing a sketch sent to him by Lauterborn, concluded the animals were identical, and, by using Lauterborn's specific name described this species as 'Rattulus pusillus Lauterborn' from Lake Erie (USA) and England (Jennings (1903)). He thereby made R. pusillus nomenclaturally available and took authorship of the name, notwithstanding that he originally attributed it to Lauterborn (ICZN Art. 12.1.). [details]
