Homonymy This combination is a junior homonym of Clathra (Clathria) prolifera (Ellis & Solander, 1786). To replace it two nomina nova have been proposed independently by Cuartas (1995) and Hoooper (1996), both named Clathria (Clathria) burtoni. The oldest combination of Cuartas (1995) is the accepted one, with Hooper's (1996) combination a junior synonym. [details]
