Publication date 1816 in an encyclopedia entry. The Hartman catalogue gives two separate checklist records, one Amphitrite at the beginning of Sabellariidae, one in Amphitrite (Terebellidae) both with wrong dates (1827, 1830), and referred to Sabellaria alveolata. Both are later usages in different works. Kirtley's (1994) monograph on Sabellariidae seems to have overlooked this species name. [details]From other sources
