Scutellina (adapical plating)
Description Upper side with interambulacrum IA 2 and adjacent ambulacra. Left: Laganina [now Laganiformes]: The interambulacral column ends in a single plate at the apical disc and becomes very narrow at the margin. Right: Scutellina [now Scutelliformes]: The interambulacral column ends with two plates at the apical disc and is slightly narrower than the ambulacrum at the margin.
