Diagnosis Well sized shells for the genus with a small to very small protoconch. The shells are thick, with wavy and broad axial ribs. Ground color a tan brown with a silky gloss. Most often with a spiral line pattern, except in L. exorata where the spiral bands consist of axial lines.  [details]
